Horizon

  • Costas Varotsos constructs his work Horizon for an exhibition organized by the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art. The work is situated at Aristotelous square, forming a dialogic relationship not only with the horizon of the Thermaikos bay, but also with the horizon of the Salonica. This relationship states the contradistinction between the natural and the artificial environment.

Today the artwork is situated at the entrance of the International Exhibition of Salonica.

  • Location: Aristotelous square, Thessaloniki, Greece
  • Dimensions: 13x1,7m.
  • Materials: Iron, glass
