In 1998, Varotsos constructs the Horizon in Aghios Kontantinos in the region of Pyrgos, Corinthia. The work is situated at the Kanellaki family estate and was created to make homage to the family's children (The estate was later donated to the Village SOS Children's Camp).

The artwork (25 meter in length and 2 meter in height) is shaped by two uneven triangular surfaces. Situated at one of the space's end, the Horizon creates a borderline between the view of the mountain and the sea and offers a different sight of the landscape behind it.
